Marketing and Communications Specialist

 

The Marketing and Communications Specialist will develop and implement marketing and communications materials, as well as protocols, processes, and practices to advance the priorities of the studio. This position is a full time and in person role that will combine marketing, communications, and business development.

 

Qualifications:

 

Excellent communications (written and oral), planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.  A demonstrated high level of professionalism with the ability to communicate clearly and tactfully, projecting a helpful, positive and proactive approach to all situations. Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative, establish and accomplish priorities, manage projects and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Good judgment, diplomacy, and exceptional skills to ensure positive experiences with the firm.

 

Must have background in architectural training and/or 1+ years of experience in a similar or relevant position

 

Bachelor’s degree is required

 

Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills a must

 

Strong knowledge of Google Suite, MS Office & Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign

 

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and balance long term, short term, and daily workloads with limited oversight

 

Professional, diplomatic, positive, proactive, and follows up on and delivers projects and deliverables independently

 

An informed understanding of architecture or strong interest in architecture

 

Ability to strategize new business development initiatives

 

Responsibilities:

 

Produce content independently while discussing key strategy points with the studio ledership

 

Create initiatives that support acquisition of projects 

 

Strengthen the studio’s presence in new and existing markets

 

Maintain and expand client, consultant and collaborator connections

 

Initiate, lead, and deliver special projects and proactive activities

 

Vetting RFPs/RFQs/RFI requests. Producing and/or overseeing RFP/RFQ/RFI submissions. 

 

Tracking and producing award submissions.

 

Coordinating lecture and press requests with associated materials.

 

Host meetings with potential clients, lead the follow-up, and internally assess and develop recommendations for new potential projects

 

Give office and project tours to clients, consultants, and other VIPs

 

Represent the studio at events and conferences

 

Take part in market research and development of marketing material
