HYA is seeking a Design Strategist to join our Boston office. This role bridges research, data, and design, with a focus on shaping the future of work. This is an ongoing project supporting workplace design strategy for a top US technology company. The position is client-facing, involving close collaboration with the client and adjacent stakeholders to translate insights into spatial and strategic outcomes.
Who You Are
A creative thinker who can translate complexity into clear, compelling stories.
Skilled in data analysis, research synthesis, and visual communication.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
Background in workplace design, applied research, or data analytics a plus.
Passionate about how environments shape the way people work, learn, and connect.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data and research to uncover insights that inform workplace and organizational design.
Develop visual narratives, frameworks, and presentations that connect strategy to space.
Collaborate across disciplines to align design intent with business and cultural goals.
Contribute to client workshops, presentations, and internal research initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with spreadsheets for analysis and developing efficient workflows.
Google Slides, Sheets, Docs — for analysis and storytelling.
AutoCAD, SketchUp, and familiarity with architectural graphics standards.
